Polymeter is counting two things at once. A riff that loops in twenty-five while the drums hold sixteen lines up again every four hundred ticks, and the wait between those meetings is where the tension in this music lives. This engine plays that arithmetic with clicks of its own making; nothing here is a recording. The presets are the patterns from Bleed, Rational Gaze, Schism and Lateralus, checked against the maps I made for Herta. Time signatures belong to everyone.
